It's Dog Man!

As I mentioned last week, it's National Reading Month and I wanted to spend some time talking about some of my favorite books. This week, I decided to talk about my kids' favorite books: Dog Man. This is a series by Cleveland-native Dav Pilkey (author of the Captain Underpants series). They're graphic novels, which normally I'm not that into, but these really convey hilarious stories through the pictures. Beyond the comedy, which is great, the stories actually have deeper meanings and positive messages too. At All Saints in Wickliffe, where my boys go, they recently had a book fair. We gave them each $10 bucks to pick out a new book, and actually came home with the exact same Dog Man book. I highly recommend this series.
